We have only lived in New Orleans for a few months, but it is hard not to get caught up in the Who Dat hysteria! The phrase is actually, "Who Dat Say De Gonna Beat Dem Saints?!?!?" Gramatically, it grates on my every last nerve, but you can't help but chant along in excitement!
We are so excited to watch the Saints play in the Super Bowl today! I have never seen a city be so proud of a team before, and I think that a Saint's Super Bowl win would be good for New Orleans in general. As the Marketing Director for one of the area's biggest tourist attractions, Roger is also loving the POSITIVE FREE media coverage! When else do you have 100 million people watching a game and thinking about your city??
