11 Months Old!!

At eleven months, Avery is FULL of energy! She is fearless and always on the move - climbing anything and everything that she can hike her little body up onto. According to my measurements, Avery is still about 20 pounds and 31 inches.

Avery loves to dance around. She can't keep the beat yet, but it is adorable to watch her jive and wiggle! She has really asserted her independence over the last month, and we can no longer spoon feed her at mealtime. She insists on feeding herself. Same goes with her bottles.

Avery is walking everywhere now, but she still likes to hold onto a hand or finger when we are outside or on hardwood floors. For that, I am very thankful! She is such a friendly little girl, and we will walk up and down the street (really just a few house to the left and right) to "talk" to neighbors. We have lots of little kids on our street, and Avery is always curious to see what they are up to. This baby does not know a stranger, and she smiles at everyone we see. She is such a sweetie!
Avery's newest baby trick is giving hugs and kisses. She gives the wet and slobbery kisses, but despite that, it just melts your heart when she grabs your face with both little hands to plant one on you!
