Avery is nap averse. She REALLY doesn't like to take them. However, our pediatrician says that we should at least attempt to put her down for a nap twice a day. Somedays Avery is good for Nanny Nancy, and she will sleep anywhere from 1 to 2 hours throughout the day. When she is home with me? Forget it! Avery will typically play quietly in her crib for awhile, and then scream for us to come rescue her. I tried to put her down this afternoon, and she was unusually quiet. I thought for sure that she must have fallen asleep. Not quite! Colby was sleeping on the floor in her room, and I think Avery was trying to get his attention. No nap today...
