Meeting Mackenzie and Matt

When we arrived in Houston, my mom (Gram) was there to pick us up, and we were all so happy to see her. It had been nearly six weeks since my mom had last seen Avery, and she was excited to see how much Avery had grown. We went to my mom's house, where Katie and Mackenzie were waiting for us. Kenzie was thrilled to meet her cousin! She was such a great little helper, and she did a wonderful job of holding and singing to Avery. Kenzie wasn't too keen on the idea of changing Avery's diaper, but she did help by passing on the baby wipes as needed. They were really too cute together! I only wish that we lived closer so they could see each other more often. I have no doubt that Avery will look up to Kenzie! As we were leaving my mom to go to the Adamson's, my brother arrived home. He was equally excited to meet his new neice!
