Fall Leaves

One of our favorite things about Kansas City is the fact that we experience all four seasons. Fall is definitely my favorite season! I love the cooler weather, the anticipation of the holidays, the fall smell, and in Kansas City, the changing color of the leaves. We have two huge trees in our front yard, and raking the fallen leaves is a major chore. While I have always helped in years past, poor Roger was on his own this year with the raking. Before he raked and bagged all the leaves, Roger wanted to take a picture of Avery in a pile of leaves. Katie was here that weekend, and she helped us get the baby comfortably nestled in the pile. Avery loved the fresh air!
