Sweet Tooth

We are not sure from whom she inherited this trait, but Avery has a major sweet tooth. Thankfully, her favorite sweet snack is a whole grain fig newton. It could be so much worse, right? At this point, we can't even say the words fig or newton in our house. This child does not miss anything! To discuss this treat, we must spell it out.

As soon as she has her precious prize, she will take one little bite.

Then she likes to go sit down somewhere to savor the rest of it!
The result? A very happy baby!

At this point, she usually runs to the pantry, hangs from the doorknob, and cries for "ma! ma!" (aka "more! more!" in the English language). If this happens to occur on the weekend when her daddy is home, she usually gets her wish!
